Does this sound like you?

✓ Abdominal pain, bloating, or tenderness that hasn't gone away

Nausea, vomiting, or changes in digestion or appetite

Blood in your urine or other urinary concerns

Abnormal liver, kidney, or pancreas labs

Noticeable swelling in your midsection

A condition your provider is monitoring after treatment or surgery

These are among the most common reasons providers order abdominal imaging. Each exam is performed by an experienced, registered sonographer, and every image is reviewed by a board-certified radiologist before your provider sees the report.

Exam types

Your provider's order will specify one of the following exam types.

Complete Abdominal Ultrasound ᐧ $250 (CPT 76700)

Evaluates the pancreas, liver, aorta and IVC, gallbladder and common bile duct, kidneys, spleen, and bladder. Ordered when your provider needs to assess multiple organs in a single exam.

Limited Abdominal Ultrasound
ᐧ $235 (CPT 76705)

Focuses on a specific area, typically the pancreas, liver, aorta and IVC, gallbladder and common bile duct, or right kidney, to answer your provider's specific clinical question.

What an abdominal ultrasound can show

  • Gallbladder & bile ducts: gallstones, inflammation, or blockages

  • Liver: fatty changes, cirrhosis, cysts, or masses

  • Kidneys & bladder: stones, cysts, swelling, or wall thickening

  • Pancreas & spleen: inflammation, cysts, or masses

  • Abdominal aorta: aneurysms or other vascular findings

The scan also captures blood flow in real time, which can help your provider identify vascular concerns like an aortic aneurysm without additional imaging.

How it works

1. Book your scan. Your provider's order will note which exam you need. Choose it, pick a day that works for you, and book. We're open 7 days a week

2. Come in for your appointment. An experienced sonographer performs your exam, captures every image your provider requested, and you get to see your baby along the way

3. Your provider receives the report. A board-certified radiologist reviews your scan and sends an official report to your provider, so your prenatal care can continue seamlessly.
